Curating culture in communication

Connecting people and ideas using a project management approach with a global perspective.

Michelle Lee Davis founded utter culture to improve outcomes where cultural communication was needed .  Her interest in culture ignited when living and working in three different countries, slowly realising she had a culture herself when confronted with those of others.  Her love affair with how this affects communication began while producing trailers for a London TV satellite company transmitting in three languages to 27 countries.  Moving to Italy, becoming bilingual, she switched to the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry, translating quality assurance, research and industrial development documents.

Arriving in Adelaide she studied for a Bachelor in Writing and Communication with a focus on Cultural Studies and a sub major in Applied Linguistics -  winning awards and a scholarship to study in Malaysia.

Consolidating her Project Management experience with qualifications - her latest projects include developing and producing films aimed at improving outcomes for people living with dementia, and disabled artists.

She also understands the culture of performance through her involvement in community choirs participating in a couple of Adelaide Festival gigs, and supporting the rock band The Angels on a leg of their latest Australian tour - Symphony of Angels!
